Situations and Circumstances are same but approach makes it different. This is well proved theory in today’s framework where everyone is in continuous befuddlement and enigma and where every moment is to be observed and experimented. Everyone is constantly reminded by the running hands of the clock to run and bear the loads of responsibilities and live up to the expectations of everyone around. These unmanageable and unbearable situations create and push to stress and strain in life. To help and usher the teachers to learn to cope with the stress that they face in classrooms or at personal fronts, one day workshop was organised on 3rd December 2022, in the vicinity of St. Vincent Pallotti College. Ms. Mamta Giri Goswami, the Clinical Psychologist was the Resource Person. Mrs. Leena Singh, Psychologist, Mrs. Jagriti Sahu, Community Nurse, graced the event with their benign presence. Rev. Fr. Amit Tirkey, The Director of the College glorified the programme with his gracious presence.

The foremost culminations of the workshop were – various types of stress faced by teenagers, stress relaxation therapy, and different stress management techniques. Addressing the teachers and students she emphasized that “stress can be good or bad, it is human approach which makes it beneficial or harmful. Answering to the queries of the teachers, she put forward that it is very important to vent out the feelings in front of the person who could provide the best guidance and support instead of keeping the knots in the mind.

Speaking on this moment, The Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey said that, stress and anxiety are inseparable parts of human life and nature and it is imperative to know how to deal with it and ultimately get triumph over it. He stated that the strongest weapon against stress is the capability to select one thought over another.

The workshop concluded with a triumphant smile of relaxation and peace on the faces of teachers and students and with a promise to deal with stress in a positive and fervent way. Dr. Mini S. Pillai, the Extension Committee Convener expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the eminent guests, teachers and students.


The noblest and the most divine human sacrifice is to donate blood to bring back life to its power. It is a bonafide act of humanity and recognition of a genuine human being. Keeping this inestimable words in heart and soul and to bring an exemplary change in the society St. Vincent College, Raipur organised a mega Blood Donation Camp in the college vicinity on October 15, 2022 with the praiseworthy cooperation of Bilasa Blood Bank Raipur. The camp realm was emblazoned with the benign presence of Mr.Akash Mishra, the Chief Commissioner Officer, Director Rev. Fr. AmitTirkey, the Principal Dr.KuldeepDubey and Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gauri. The arena was adorned with the gracious presence of Mr. Ashish Sharma, Mr. AnujKhare and the other accompanying members of Bilasa Blood Bank. All the esteemed guests were welcomed with bouquet and the welcome speech delivered by Dr. Mini S Pillai.

The camp was inaugurated with the lighting of auspicious lamp. Speaking on this fortunate occasion, the Principal Dr. KuldeepDubeyexpressed his treasured words to fetch a remarkable change in the society. He stated that blood donation helps people to get the blood they need in their most dire moment of life. Addressing all, he highlighted that donation of blood hardly takes a few minutes of our life but it saves someone's entire life. He put emphasize on his words with a promise to donate blood at least once a year and make someone's life active and our lives more meaningful and worth. He highly commended and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the blood donors for their life saving donations and at the same time he strongly encouraged everyone gathered there to take a step forward for this noble cause.

This great initiative and the event was highly praised by everyone present there and ended with the famous quote, "Bring life back to power, make blood donation your responsibility."


World Heart Day is a pivotal annual event which aims at raising cognizance and consciousness of heart illness and the range of cardiovascular diseases. It is observed on September 29 annually around the globe. The day is celebrated by organizing various activities and awareness events globally.

A healthy heart is a gift for life. With the changing lifestyle, people are at an increased risk for developing numerous diseases related to the heart. Keeping in view the genuine significance and purpose of this day, a Walkathon was organised by NHMMI- Narayana Superspeciality Hospital on 25 September, 2022 at Shankar Nagar. The students and staffs of St. Vincent Pallotti College participated enthusiastically in it. They are an active and strenuous member of this event since 9 years.

The main objective to organise this rally every year is to unfurl and spread awareness among people about heart ailments and how to keep it fit. Speaking on this occasion the Principal expressed his pretentious thoughts to enlighten the students and staffs. Expressing his wisdom he said that Brisk Walk is one of the best exercises to keep oneself away from these life threatening diseases. He advised everyone to inculcate the habit of regular exercise in their routine work. He expressed his heart felt gratitude to the organising team and their members to come forward for this noble cause and to bring an awareness among the people. All the participants were felicitated with the Certificates by NHMMI- Narayana Superspeciality Hospital.

People across the globe are rushing to own materialistic happiness shadowing the basic aspect of human life. Somehow health the foremost arena of humanity has been overlooked on a small extent. The two years of Pandemic has taught people not only to look after the health but to take an extra caring step towards better future. Considering the health as an opulent factor Charity and Extension Committee of St. Vincent Pallotti College conducted a COVID vaccination drive on August, 20, 2022. in the college campus. The teachers, students and entire college family attended the program with their utmost zeal and enthusiasm. Addressing the gathering the Principal, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey stated that the two years of Pandemic has educated the people about the basic healthcare and an extra protection for a healthy life. He said that good health is the most valuable possession that an individual can have in their life. Every comfort is futile unless one is healthy to enjoy it. He urged everyone to be vaccinated by highlighting the importance of Booster Dose. Total 85 teachers and students were vaccinated with covidshield and covaxin respectively. The Director. Mr Amit Tirkey highly appreciated the initiative taken by the teachers and students towards a healthy and better life. The Vice Principal Dr. Padma Gauri, HODs of various departments, teaching and non teaching staff and students adorned this Health Drive Program by their benign presence. The program concluded with the vote of thanks and good luck message for a better and healthy life given by the convenor of charity and extension programme.
