The Incubation Cell of St.Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur organized an innovativeentrepreneurial activity titled “IdeaStorm: Student Startup Challenge”on 10 April 2026 with the objective of fosteringcreativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking among students. Theactivity aimed to encourage students to observe their surroundings, identifyreal-life local problems, and propose practical startup solutions that couldcontribute to community development. A total of 7 groups from variousdepartments of the college participated enthusiastically in the event,with each group consisting of 3–4 students who collaborated to design sustainableand innovative business ideas. The programme was graced by the esteemedpresence of the Principal, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey and Vice Principal,Dr. G. Padma Gouri along with the dedicated members of the Incubation Cell,whose encouragement and guidance motivated students to actively engage in theactivity and showcase their innovative abilities.
During the activity, each grouppresented their startup ideas through PowerPoint presentations within theallotted time, followed by interactive question-and-answer sessions. Thepresentations included essential aspects such as introduction of the idea,identification of local problems, proposed solutions, target customers, uniqueselling points (USP), business models, and future scope of the startup ideas.The ideas reflected originality and relevance to local needs, covering diverseareas such as education, waste management, agriculture, digital services,healthcare, and local entrepreneurship. The dignitaries and Incubation Cellmembers provided constructive feedback and valuable suggestions to improve thefeasibility of the ideas. Overall, the activity served as a meaningful platformfor enhancing students’ confidence, teamwork, presentation skills, andentrepreneurial awareness, making the event engaging, informative, andsuccessful in achieving its intended objectives.
