The Department of Management organized a certificate course on “soft skill development” from29th October to 11th November 2025 for the BBA students.The course was inaugurated with a welcome address by Ms..Aanchal Mishra,Incharge (Department of Management) who highlighted the importance of softskills in shaping a successful career. Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Principal alsoaddressed the students and encouraged them to actively participate in thesessions. The sessions were conducted by Ms. Shipra V. Chawla, (soft skillstrainer and founder of G.S. Learning Solutions) the resource person for thecourse who guided students through various topics including self-awareness,confidence building, effective communication, interactive lectures, discussionsand teamwork and presentation skills.

 

Throughout the course, studentparticipated in a series of interactive games, interactive lectures, groupdiscussions and role-play activities were organized to enhance students’engagement and learning experience. Ms. Shilpa V. Chawla ensured that eachsession was practical and student-centered enabling participants to understandand apply soft skills in daily life. The course concluded with positivefeedback from students who expressed that the training significantly improvedtheir communication skill and boosted their self-confidence, active participationand a collaborative learning environment. As the program concluded with a dignified valedictory session held inthe esteemed presence of Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Principal and Dr.G.Padma Gouri,Vice-principal.During the session, certificates were also distributed to the students. Withmotivating remarks, expressions of gratitude the certificate course concludedon an inspiring and memorable note.



The Department of Management organized an Aptitude Test for BBA students in hybrid mode (Offline & Online) on 15th October 2025(Wednesday) at 11:15 a.m. in their respective classrooms. The Aptitude Test serves as a vital tool to assess the cognitive abilities and academic potential of the students, helping them identify their strengths and areas for improvement.The test was designed to cover five major sections — Quantitative Aptitude,Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge & Business Awareness, and Data Interpretation — with a total of 25 questions carrying 50 marks.Attendance for all students was compulsory, ensuring complete participation from the department.

Overall, the students actively participated and demonstrated commendable performance across all sections. The results revealed that while most students performed well in English and Logical Reasoning, a few needed improvements in Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. This evaluation will help faculty members in planning academic support sessions and incorporating problem-solving and analytical exercises into the curriculum. The Aptitude Test thus provided valuable insights into students’ overall academic aptitude and readiness for future competitive and professional challenges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



AParents-Teacher Meeting is not just meetings they are milestones in a student’sgrowth. It is a great opportunity to share academic progress of students basedon assignments, class room observations and unit test. The objective of the PTMis to inform the parents about their wards’ performance and learning styles. On11th October 2025, the Department of Management organized a Parent- TeacherMeeting for BBA students to discuss the performance of the students with theirparents. MS. Aanchal Mishra (In-charge of the Department) addressed the parentsand presented a concise introduction to the new course structure and curriculumunder the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), laying out the goals,objectives, and broad changes. It was a great interaction between the teachersand the parents. For the development of the students, their strengths and areasof improvements were discussed. The progress report was shown to the parents andtheir suggestions were noted.

The Principal ofthe college Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, delivered a motivating address, urging studentsand parents to embrace the reforms brought by NEP 2020, emphasizing the importanceof adaptability, lifelong learning, and the opportunities afforded byinterdisciplinary education. He encouraged the students to take ownership oftheir future, engage proactively with the new curriculum and cultivate a spiritof innovation. Vice Principal Dr. G. PadmaGouri addressed the parents and toldthem about the importance of regular attendance of the students and activeparticipate in cocurricular and departmental activities, and consistentparticipation in college events as integral and helps in holistic development ofthe students. The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that, mutualunderstanding and cooperation of Parents and Teachers are very important for theproper nourishment and progress of the students. It was a positive and a fruitfulinteraction for both the teachers and the parents.

 

 

 


The Departmentof Management organized a “Group Discussion (GD) Competition” for the studentsof BBA on 26th September in the AVA Room. The event was conducted to enhancecommunication, analytical thinking and decision-making skills of the students.The GD was conducted on two thought-provoking topics viz. Is AI a Threat or Toolfor Business? and Education vs. Skill – What Matters the Most for the Job?

The objective ofthe  Group Discussion was to encourage studentsto express their views confidently, develop critical thinking and improveteamwork, listening, & leadership qualities.The GD competition was a greatsuccess, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase theircommunication and analytical abilities. Among the stand out performers were JoyMable Toppo and Mansi Sahu, who were recognized as the Best Speakers for theirimpactful delivery. Rashmi Sharma and Akshada Mishra secured the position ofFirst Runners-up, while Tarun Kumar Sahu and Disha Das were named SecondRunners-up for their thoughtful contributions and clarity of thought. The eventnot only boosted participants' confidence but also equipped them with valuableskills for future academic and professional challenges.

 

 

 

 



The Department of Management and the Department of BA jointly organized the Orientation Program Pinnacle: “Scaling Heights of Knowledge and Leadership”for the students of BBA and BA on 30th August 2025 in the Seminar Hall.The program aimed to connect the BBA and BA first-semester students with the college, familiarize them with college life and culture, introduce the facilities available, and help them know their colleagues and teachers. The program was graced by the presence of the Principal, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Vice Principal, Dr. G. Padma Gouri, In-charge of BA Department, Dr. YashasweeLonkar, In-charge of Management Department Ms. Aanchal Mishra and faculty members of both departments. The event began with the welcoming of dignitaries followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting. Ms. Aanchal Mishra, gave a welcoming address highlighting the objectives of the program and encouraged the students to flourish like the lotus by adopting positive skills and a positive mindset. Principal Sir addressed the gathering, motivating the students to actively participate in academics as well as in extracurricular activities. He emphasized the importance of skill-building for future success and also shared a brief overview of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.The program also showcased the meaningful integration of the two Departments Management and BA working together to create a holistic learning environment for the students. Adding vibrancy to the event, students enthusiastically participated and show cased their talents through various dance performances, games and involvement in the activities. The program concluded with an interactive session, leaving the students inspired and encouraged. The Orientation Program proved to be a resounding success, marking the beginning of a fruitful academic journey for the new batch of students. Ms. Aanchal Mishra was the In-charge of the event.



On August 25th, the AVA Room buzzed with creativity andinnovation as students of BBA I gathered for the “Slide Spark” PPT PresentationCompetition. Held at 11:30 AM, this event showcased the art of effectivecommunication, visual story telling, and technical prowess. The competition wascentered on trending social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook,LinkedIn, Twitter (X),and Pinterest. Each group of students selected a platformand created engaging,informative slides to demonstrate the importance andimpact of these social media sites, especially in the realm of marketing.

The competition was graced by two esteemed judges, Dr. NeetuGupta from the Department of Commerce and Ms. Aayesha Hendricks from theEducation Department. The students' efforts were critically evaluated by thejudges, who assessed the creativity, depth of knowledge, technical execution,and presentation skills. First prize was bagged by the LinkedIn team whileInstagram was the runner up.

 The Slide Sparkcompetition was a huge success, combining creativity, learning, and fun. Theevent provided a platform for students to enhance their public speaking skills,gain confidence in presenting in front of an audience and provided a uniqueopportunity to explore the digital marketing world through the lens of socialmedia platforms.

 

 

 



The 3rd and 5th semester senior students of Management Department from St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur organized a Friendship Day celebration for their juniors on 2nd August 2025.The main objective of this event was to foster bonding, encourage interaction,and help break the ice between seniors and juniors in a fun-filled and engaging environment.

The event featured a series of interactive games and activities, specifically designed to promote teamwork,communication, and camaraderie among students. The first activity was an exciting Treasure Hunt,where juniors were divided into teams and given clues to find hidden locations around the college. This game tested their problem-solving skills and teamwork,while also helping them get familiar with the campus.

 

Next, a lively session of Dumb Charades was conducted.Participants were divided into teams,and each team acted out movie names without speaking, while their team mates guessed. The room was filled with laughter, energy, and enthusiastic participation. As the final activity, the Friendship Band Game added a meaningful touch to the celebration. Bands were hidden around the college premises, and students were tasked with finding them.Once found, they had to tie the bands to their friends and seniors, symbolizing new friendships and stronger bonds.

 

The event was a grand success, with active participation from both juniors and seniors. Students enjoyed themselves thoroughly and appreciated the opportunity to connect with one another outside of the classroom setting. For the senior students of BBA 3and 5, this program was not just a celebration but also a practical learning experience in terms of planning,organizing, coordinating, and managing an event— essential skills for any management student.

 

The Friendship Day celebration truly achieved its goal of creating a welcoming and joyful environment for the juniors. It reflected the spirit of unity and highlighted the creative and leadership capabilities of the senior BBA students.
