मेरी ज़ुबान मेरा अभिमान : हिंदीonthe occasion of “Hindi Diwas”in the AVA Room. The program commencedwith a warm welcome followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and aninspiring speech delivered by the Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey emphasizing theimportance of preserving Hindi language and promoting it as a matter of pride.

Students from various departmentsenthusiastically presented creative and meaningful reels expressing pride inHindi language and culture. Students were asked to make Reels on Topics:

मेरी हिंदी मेरा गौरवहिंदी के रंग देश के संग,  हिंदी है तो आसान है,  विकसित छत्तीसगढ़ @2047.

The competition was judgedby Mrs. Ramola Vikas Dan, Assistant Professor (Department of Education) and Mr.Krishnakant Choubey, Assistant Professor (Department of Commerce), whoevaluated the presentations on the relevance to the theme, creativity, content,originality, use of Hindi language, technical quality and presentation style. Aftercareful deliberation, the results were announced by the judges, and certificateswere presented by the Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey to the winners. The firstposition was awarded to Ravindra Sonwani, Vijay Sahu, and ArvindBhagat from the B.Ed Sem III, while the second position wassecured by Ashwin Minj and Naman Baxla, from B.Ed Sem III.

The program concluded with aheartfelt vote of thanks, leaving the participants and audience with a sense ofpride towards Hindi language. This method of using digital media not only madethe celebration more engaging and relevant for the youth but also helped inspreading awareness about the value of preserving and promoting Hindi in anattractive, meaningful and impactful manner.


The Special Days’ Committee ofSt. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur, in collaboration with the Green Armyof Chhattisgarh, organized a meaningful celebration on the occasion of “WorldConservation Day” on 12th August 2025 in the AVA roomThetheme for the celebration was "Seed Band – Let Your Bond Grow withNature", focusing on promoting eco-friendly practices and environmentalawareness.

The event began with a creativeseed band-making activity in which students enthusiasticallyparticipated.  They designed beautifulbands using seeds and other biodegradable materials, ensuring that no plasticwas used. These bands symbolized a commitment to nurturing nature and fosteringa deeper connection with the environment.

Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, inhis address highlighted the significance of World Conservation Day and theurgent need to preserve natural resources for a sustainable future. Heemphasized the role of youth in protecting the environment through small butimpactful actions. C.A. Amitabh Dubey, Founder of the Green Army ofChhattisgarh, then addressed the audience. In his inspiring speech, hestressed upon the importance of planting trees, protecting biodiversity, andcompletely avoiding plastic usage. His words motivated students to adopteco-friendly lifestyles and contribute actively to environmental conservationefforts. Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Core Committee of Green Army, Mr. GurdeepTuteja, shared information about various ongoing conservation campaigns in thestate and urged the youth to participate more actively in them. He said,“Environmental conservation can succeed not only through government efforts butalso through the active involvement of the general public, especially theyouth.”

After the speeches, a band-tyingactivity was held, where students tied the seed bands to each other’swrists as asymbolic gesture of the message "Let Your Bond Growwith Nature". This act reflected unity, commitment, and the shared responsibilityto care for the planet.

A Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) was signed between the college and the Green Army for long-termcollaboration in environmental initiatives. Under this MOU, both institutionswill cooperate in the future on activities such as tree plantation, treeconservation, creation of green campuses, awareness campaigns, andenvironmental education.

 The event concluded withrenewed commitment for environmental sustainability not only spreadingawareness about conservation but also inspiring students to take practicalsteps toward environmental protection, proving that small actions can lead tobig changes for the planet.
